Snowed In With Family...Devine!

This is my favorite view when I visit my

family at the Jersey shore...but not this Christmas!

we missed Matt and Connie this year....
but they're doing their thing and happy in South Korea! 

the girls have very cool boyfriends = nice too
 And then the snow began....

Monday - HE Restoreth My Soul - My Saturday Adventure at The Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival

i went to the MARYLAND SHEEP & WOOL FESTIVAL on saturday with my friend rachel... i don't weave, spin, knit, crochet, I'm allergic to wool, love to eat lamb ( just couldn't that day ) - and adore animals and creative talents of others along with neutral and vivid colors....we had a blast....I used my inhaler...lol. jennifer

At first glance the song's refrain, as written on the sheet music, seems to be meaningless:

Birthday weekend with pals in PA....

My friend Boobie and I hit the road last weekend for my birthday.... it was a hoot! The only negative was the 6 lb. weight gain which I am certian is all water weight! I couldn't be the Bloody Mary's on Sunday, the home-made ravioli and wine on Friday, the pastries and cookies from Little Italy all

weekend!!!!!!

Happy Birthday was had by all.... now H2O is had by ME!!!!!

Oh, and there is an adorable King Charles Cavalier residing in Bobbie's sister's home named "Leo". The Reading Glass Outlet is great and if you're ever in the area - the outdoor Italian market is the bomb!!!!

EGGS in a BASKET

When my sons were little they used to
love to eat "eggs in a basket" which is basically bread with a hole cut in the

middle after buttering both sides laying it

in a skillet, cracking an egg in the middle, cooking it until it's golden on one side, flip it

and cook it the remaining way and serve.

Cookie cutter shapes are cool too. "Eggs in a Butterfly" are a slice of bread sliced on an angle and placed point to point to make wings, crack the egg in the middle. I once made green eggs and ham

the eggs were not a big hit....per my sons Todd and Matt.

Flea Market Finds!

If you haven't been to Adamstown, PA. GO! There are a ton of local antique shops, several great places to eat, indoor outdoor flea markets - a fun day out for all. Shupp's Grove is open on Saturday and Sunday. The vendors close up early so check the schedule on the site for hours. They sell coffee and it's chilly in the early am. You can switch off another weekend and go to Rennigers or try to do both. If you hope to go for an extravaganza weekend - book ahead at a hotel.
