Friday's Fingerprints...a Little Pillow Talk about Life lessons

Well friends, it's Friday and I wanted to talk about two things...you know me - gleeful and grateful.
Psalm 145:9, "The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works."
I've been thinking about restfulness. I've been stressed in the last few months while trying to pull joy and appreciation from my world and God's gifts. Have you ever questioned why when your life is filled with so many loving people, you're learning, listening, growing, feeling, breathing - there is chaos? That's been my question.
My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest. (Exodus 33:14)
I read, meditate, pray, listen, talk and yet I still feel bombarded by
my personnal struggle to make a decision in my life I have been pushing away.
I attend a Healing Circle where we gather and rest, revive, renew, breathe.
It's enabled me to stop the negativity of my thoughts and give the ok to just BE.
Well, I consider it, am thoughtful about it, believe it is powerful.
But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.
                                                                                                               Psalm 19:13-14
At last nights women's gathering I listened. I heard other's stories. Sometimes it's so healthy to hear someone else speak of a pain, growth, a Life lesson, concerns.
It was for me.
I could no longer hide my fears and not live. I saw I was holding myself back.
John 10:10, "...I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."

I am pushing forward without regret. I remember a story about a child that was given a luscious cupcake at a party. She held it so tight and as she was offered other wonderful desserts she was so afraid to let go of her treasure she passed up many delights. When she finally decided to enjoy her treat - in the fierceness to hold on .... it was crushed and inedible. I love trying new things. Escargot, green nail polish, speaking Italian....

i loved cuddling with my kids

watching them play
smelled the flowers

listened
laughed
and learned
Now it's time for me to end the cycle of abuse and not be afraid.
To take a step outside the box and trust in what I know.
I know I am a survivor. I'm a loving woman. Intelligent.
thank you Miri for showing me a glimmer of light and what it can be for me, Jennifer

Between the Bubbles My Way! God's Fingerprints and Fabulous Friends!

MY CUP IS HALF FULL!
I am soooo excited about it being Friday, after working a full-time job, getting ready to close the Health Room for the summer, fighting with our union to keep our hours and not get them cut (WE WON!), working part-time helping my friend de-clutter and reorganize and pack up her home for a final move to Texas, planting my gardens, training Autumn, reclaiming my house from HUGE dust bunnies and well... you understand.  So - I was thinking about bubble baths and taking one!
but then my mind wandered
ooops
so then I though about all the gardening things I have to do
and began to let my my wander to books ...

   gardening

    weeding

      planting

    more weeding

   margarita

brie and crackers
spending time with my honey bunny
so no posts for the weekend ... I just plan to be me -
in Woodbine Maryland - with my pets, my yard,
a new born calf in the neighborhood,
buying a neighbor's fresh eggs, JUST ME ...THANKS TO YOU!
THE END
God's Fingerprints - that I have a hubby, furry companions,
friends, bubble baths, blogging buddies, a home, a job, can be myself and create,
and HE loves me for who I am and always will.
Through HIS grace. Amen  Jennifer

Fingerprints Friday - Gallery of My Card Designs

I've had a card design business for several years. The name of my business is The Three Graces. I began designing cards for friends and a few said "you should make these and sell them" - SO I DID.
I have a wide variety of styles and colors - humorous, botanicals, birds, nests, children, dog breeds and special requests.

They are one of a kind but I can make similar styles. Custom orders are possible if a customer would like a particular photo and they email it to me. My cards are blank inside, packaged with an envelope in a clear sealed sleeve.
Cost: $3.00 each + shipping
nature and time   sold
faithful friends   sold
couragous survivor  sold
my cup of tea  sold

I'd love to hear your comments, ideas, insight...
cardmaking is very relaxing for me - it enanbles me to spend hours being creative, using humor, art, quotes, color. I sell my cards in local antique & gift shops, an art and framing gallery, to private customers. How is God a fingerprint in my life with this business? -  What pleasure it brings to create but even more so when I hear someone chuckle at a funny quote or say"someone gave me one of your cards and I loved it!" - to make others happy. HE makes that possible.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.  Jennifer
happy friday & God bless
My cards will be available for purchase. Payment will be through PayPal! Please check back and I will have new designs and information. Jennifer * If you have any questions...please feel free to leave a comment, I love hearing from you!

My Friday Fingerprints Happy Ending.... praise and thanks for fingerprints on my heart

Friday's Fingerprints on my heart...
“At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us."
                                                                             Albert Schweitzer

i was having a tough time yesterday

needed to feel Spring and hope
to hear words of encouragement
get a boost
look at your lovely blogs
you right there for me
you were right there for ME!

then i received an email from my union rep telling me we are all losing an hour a day on our jobs due to the economy - not more money - less money
i fret... my phone rings

my friend bev says - "i read the email trust in the LORD,
open your bible to Psalms 46:1,2"
i did - it said - i knew
"God is our refuge and our strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not fear, though the Earth be removed, and though mountains be carried into the midst of the sea."
