I Had A Dream Last Night...

I had a dream last night. First let me begin by saying
that without my GPS I am directionally challenged.
LOST
And it's broken.
So this dream was about being lost.
In a storm.
Going up and down roads.
Raining cats and dogs.
Up and down streets.
Can't find my way.
I end up by the ocean.
I love the ocean and the beach.
It's gray, dreary, cloudy.
I'm lost.
Windshield wipers going.
Hundreds of ducks everywhere.

mmmm hmmmmm
DUCKS

swimming
floating
blowing
walking
quacking
DUCKS
Then I see a man scoop up a handful.
In my mind I think - these poor babies need help!
I pull my car around the corner where the water isn't as deep
in the road and I open the door of my car...
in pile the ducks...
every shape, size and color.
Now I have ducks on the floor, the seats, my lap,
all staring at me totally silent.
The storm stops suddenly.
No rain.
No wind.
Just ducks...in my car.
Silence.
They're staring at me.
The duck on my lap looks me in the eye.
and I hear
 Grrrrrrrrr!
And I waked myself up!
THE END!

Crackin' Up Cousins! Sistahs in Spirit...

Ok, ok! This is silly but my cousin Linda and I are sisters separated at birth - it has to be! If you ever listened to us and tried to figure out the reasoning behind our sense of humor - it's sort of like that twin communication thing you might have read about it? We've roared on a roll away bed in Rome, we've giggled in her room, we've chuckled in the car. No, it doesn't even have to be especially funny to anyone else. Although, there are a few family members that have shared moments similar to our's about our Grandmas, and assorted relatives that we discuss at summer cookouts or holiday dinners. You'd just have to be there. Unless you have ridiculous laughter of your own and are lucky enough to have a sistah of the heart like I do.

TGIG!!!! I mean TGIF! WHEW!

Sorry, it's been a very busy week! I don't think I have ever been so happy to see a weekend arrive. It was a hectic health room in the high school I work in, lots of friends with health issues of their own, happy times, my 9th wedding anniversary which a very enthusiastically said "Happy 10th anniversary!" to my husband right in front of his parents. Ooops! Sometimes you just have to laugh at life and breathe.... Too much drama.
