there's one idea!    I love fruit. I shop in Asian markets. I try new things.
have you sampled Dragon Fruit yet? it's colorful and delicious.
sort of like a kiwi with bits of teeny edible seeds. I'm big on smoothies too.
I can make them for an on the go breakfast, lunch or dinner.
with the nice weather here - check out what's available near you - local markets, Amish markets have some cool things - if you have an Asian market they can have fantastic buys ( limes 10 for $1, Fuji apples .69/lb )
layer it up

dish it up

Strawberry Fields Forever!

STRAWBERRY DAIQUIRIS
This popular drink was created , as the story goes, by a group of American miners in 1905 in a bar located in Santiago, Cuba, which is close to a beach that shares the name of the mine "Daiquiri". Originally served in a tall glass, this pungent drink remained in Cuba until around 1909. The drink spread it's wings when a US Naval Officer had a taste and whisked it back to the states with him. He took the recipe to the Army and Navy clubs where it grew in popularity. In the 1940's alcohol like whiskey and vodka were rationed by the military but the Good Neighbor Policy of Roosevelt allowed for easy aquisition of rum with free trade to Cuba.
