A Chick Trying To Keep Toasty!

bleh!
i know i say it over and over but with snow coming our way mid week... i do not like winter... bleh! if it snows a lot they'll call a "snow day" and I won't have to go in to work since I work in a high school health room = that's cool.

i just saw a whole slew of baby chicks and ducks at a farm store this weekend and they were so sweet! all yellow and fluffy, peeping like mad. clustered together with children looking in the pens so enthralled at these babies. so was i.
they were much sweeter than these pictures!
then i've been looking for different ideas for a friend of mine for things to make with peeps...

i don't eat anything marshmallow...
but i thought this was very cool!
i'll be in the hospital/rehab during Easter break but i can do without the candy anyway.
and the true meaning of Easter is what it's all about for me. you might not see very many posts for a while...but i'll be thinking good thoughts. hugs, jennifer

Tuesday's Thoughts... "SUBDUED" it's a matter of opinion & Art

SUBDUED

1. subdued - in a softened tone; "hushed voices"; "muted trumpets"; "a subdued whisper"; "a quiet reprimand"
hushed, muted, quiet
soft - (of sound) relatively low in volume; "soft voices"; "soft music"
2. subdued - restrained in style or quality; "a little masterpiece of low-keyed eloquence"
low-key, low-keyed
restrained - under restraint
3. subdued - tame - very restrained or quiet; "a tame Christmas party"; "she was one of the tamest and most abject creatures imaginable with no will or power to act but as directed"

4. subdued - not brilliant or glaring; "the moon cast soft shadows"; "soft pastel colors"; "subdued lighting" soft
5. subdued - dull - emitting or reflecting very little light; "a dull glow"; "dull silver badly in need of a polish"; "a dull sky"
6. subdued - lacking in light; not bright or harsh; "a dim light beside the bed"; "subdued lights and soft music" dim
7. subdued - dark - devoid of or deficient in light or brightness; shadowed or black; "sitting in a dark corner"; "a dark day"; "dark shadows"; "dark as the inside of a black cat"
Tuesday's Take on the word "Subdued"
it's a matter of opinion and style, Jennifer

Pottery Barn - What I want - What I need - What I can afford!

I love bottles and glassware - greens and blues. So when I came upon these looks on the pages of a Pottery Barn catalog -
I knew what I wanted!
simple clean lines, tones, shapes, spirit, style
I know I need a new look - to simply
add lots of white, cream, glass
that's what I dreamed of while flipping
the pages of The Pottery Barn catalog
and many blogs too
as to what I can afford...
well, let me say there were not
very many items available in said catalog
but then things have never been my
keys to happiness
But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? John 3:17
