Stormy Spree.... shop, swap!

Charcoal   Gray  Silver   those are my hues of the day.
Benvenuti!
Stormy weather adventure...
put on a load of wash
wait stop! you can do that any dreary day...
phone some friends
555-1234 or whatever their numbers are
put a pot of mocha java whatever on
(no calories on yucky days)

and have a magazine swap!
(or cds, jewelry or dvds)
It's really a hoot - you plan ahead by setting a bag or box aside
marked "rainy day loot" with whatever you and your friends like to swap -
be it books, cookbooks, recipes, costume jewelry, yard sale goodies your not
in love with anymore, videos you want to pass on, writing paper and cards, the sky is the limit.... you can even just gather things for donation!
You cannot wrap up children or husbands - they are too prescious and they tend to jump out of the packages... I've tried. Jenn

Tussie Mussies - The Language of Flowers

Every sprig and blossom in each little nosegay conveys a “meaning” in the old-time language of flowers.

“Tussie-mussie” is a quaint, endearing term from the early 1400s for small, round bouquets of herbs and flowers with symbolic meanings. The word coaxes smiles from audiences I address around the country, and many people are delighted to discover this archaic custom. What application can tussie-mussies possibly have in today’s world, where women and men carrying briefcases and cellular phones have neither free hands to carry a tussie-mussie nor spare minutes to invest in antiquated customs?

Swap - Free - Trade - Brilliant Idea!

stamps stamps

stamps

stamps stamps
Here's my light bulb moment - my brilliant idea - if you're interested - let me know!
I happen to have quite a few stamps a friend in Cornwall, England sent me to use with my card making business.
I have extras and wondered if anyone would like to swap stamps from other countries for a few of mine or just enjoy some of the ones I have.
I don't have tons but I thought it would be interesting to see if we started to send each other little packets... what would happen if we kept passing them on to one another?
So if you'd like me to forward some to you to check out... contact me and we'll talk... Jennifer
